The Big Bang Fair South Wales is part of the major Big Bang UK wide programme which encourages pupils from (age range 9-19) to take a greater interest in STEM.
This year's Big Bang South Wales will be hosted at MOD St Athan, Barry on Thursday 19th March 2020.
The event will be an exciting collaboration of the Big Bang Regional Fair and the Engineering Education Scheme Wales 30th anniversary.
There will be a large STEM exhibition of companies, universities and other STEM organisations offering a range of interactive stands. Pupils will be able to speak to industry professionals to find out what a career in STEM would be like, as well as enjoy hands-on activities.
Schools registered to attend will be invited to pre-book a practical workshop for their pupils. Please note workshops are extremely popular and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
There will also be exciting shows during the day, aimed at primary and secondary level as well as over fifty exhibitions from Year 12 teams attending to display their work as part of the EESW Project 2019-20 competition.
