Big Bang @ Uxbridge College 2019

Uxbridge College
Park Road
Friday, 05 Jul 2019
Opening hours for visitors: 10:00 - 15:30

Who is it for? How do students spend their time?

The Big Bang London is open to students aged 10-19 from all schools, colleges and home educators.

The day runs from 10am - 3.30pm. You can come for all or part of the day. We would recommend a mininmum of three hours so you can have time to tour the hands-on exhibition, take part in a workshop and enjoy a show.

The venue will be full of interactive exhibitions that run all day. Make newspaper as strong as steel with the Institution of Civil Engineers and the STIXX machine, control your own robots with Real Robots Live, or find out about the underground world of mail rail.

There is a programme of workshops and shows that you can pre-book for students. This will be published after June half term. These workshops include a CSI challenge, animation creation, robotics. There are also shows running a couple of times during the day.

There will be some catering (drinks, snacks) available to buy on site but we recommend all students bring a packed lunch with them. There will be picnic spaces available or canteen rooms inside if the July weather is not as sunny as it should be!
