A day of interactive and exciting STEM activities to inspire young people to consider STEM careers.

The day will consist of a variety of STEm activities from Immersive Hybrid Reality and Virtual Reality to team tasks and STEM challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about many different STEM related careers and talk to companies about the STEM related jobs they offer in their organisation.

Skills Development Scotland - My World of Work - will be offering careers advise and showcasing programming software for coding your own flashing images.

Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) will demonstrate the skills used by civil engineers with interactive activities.

The Royal Navy will be challenging attendees to design the most efficient ship's turbine blade. 

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) will highlight careers in construction and  demonstrate how energy efficient houses are designed and built and students will have a chance to design and build an energy efficient house in Virtual Reality. 

Test your head for heights and experience working on a wind turbine in virtual reality. West Highland College UHI will have a series of demonstrations including Robotics, VR displays and Lego Mindstorm. 

Come and learn about blood pressure and how exercise effects our body with West Highland College UHI and find out more about careers and courses in nursing or sports coaching.

Test your welding skills on Inverness College UHI's virtual welder.

Hear about a career in Geology and the science of our landscape with Lochaber Geopark. 

Highland Ecology Development Ltd  (HED)  will be on hand to discuss the variety of roles available in ecology and environmental science.

BSW Timber as the most technologically advanced forest products company in the UK will showcase the spectrum of STEM related roles available across the forestry sector. Come and see their robotic arm display.
