RS Components Titan II Truck takes over St Pancras Square!

The RS Components (RS) interactive technology truck, Titan II, will be welcoming local schoolchildren and business visitors on board during its week-long visit to Pancras Square.

The 35-tonne truck showcases the latest technologies such as Raspberry Pi, 3D printing, robotics, the Internet of Things and thermal imaging. Furthermore, it will demonstrate virtual reality and augmented reality to really bring innovation to life.

This event takes place at 2 Pancras Road, behind Kings Cross on Monday 2 July, Tuesday 3rd July, and Thursday 5th July. On Wednsday 4th July Titan II Truck and acccompanying activities alongside the Truck are a satellite worshop for The Big Bang London Central Regional Fair, a short 10 minutes walk away at Westminster Kingway College - Kings Cross Centre. As a global distributor for engineers and akey partner for the UK government’s campaign Year of Engineering, weacknowledge a responsibility to help address the uptake of engineering andprevent a future skills gap in the STEM subjects, and we are in the perfectposition as influencers to promote the importance of engineering as an academicdiscipline and to nurture the next generation of engineers.

We haveintroduced a variety of initiatives at RS, including regular donations ofproducts such as Raspberry Pi devices and 3D printing equipment to educationalorganisations and relevant community projects around the communities in whichwe operate. We partner STEM learning to develop teaching materials and activitykits for UK Schools.
